Category A Recessed chest handles can be installed on tool chests or toolboxes that you move in and out of your work truck or job sites. They are designed so that moving the unit from place to place is made easy and convenient for you. Standard features include a recessed mounting plate which allows for flush mounting with the outside wall of the tool box, and takes up minimal space on the inside, so no additional room needs to be calculated when packaging tight cargo areas. When in use, a bail will stop the grab handle at 90° straight out, so hand or finger pinching between the handle and the tool box is prevented. They have a smooth, zinc plated finish so no sharp edges are exposed. To prevent finger pressure when carrying under load, they are supplied with a 5/8 rubber cushioned, grip pad. The handle is spring loaded, so it’s always in a folded, stowed-out-of-the-way position when not in use, which also prevents rattle noises when traveling or moving the product.
