Our heavy duty high capacity Side Mount Toolboxes are available in either aluminum or steel with a powder coated finish. They feature a top opening lid with a pull handle locking system. Side toolboxes can be mounted on the side of a truck bed, and are designed for the professional contractor or serviceperson.

The lid/door on these side toolboxes opens with the aid of self-powered gas springs and opens full width for better cargo removal.

Our high capacity side mount toolboxes offer 45% more storage space than comparable low profile side mount boxes. They are wider and deeper so hand tools and larger tools can be stored more easily.

These high capacity side mount toolboxes feature a handy built-in tool compartment which runs the full length of the box along the front for convenient access to small parts and tools. When mounted above the wheel well they do infringe on the 4 foot dimension between the wheel wells, but there is still 10 to 12 inches available below the box to slide in 4-foot wide material.

Side toolboxes are designed to carry miscellaneous tools for home building contractors, electrical contractors, landscaping contractors or even surveying contractors. They can also be used for cargo like hitch balls, wood blocks, safety chains and light hookup connectors.

Side toolboxes can be used separately or in combination with our cross and saddle toolboxes.
